Wax-Ups

A wax-up is a process where Dr. Batorfalvy takes an impression of your teeth, and uses it to create a 3D model of what your new smile will look like.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are the ultimate step to a bright, beautiful, perfect smile. Thin porcelain shells are custom-colored and formed to cover your natural tooth. They have a natural luminescence, just like your own teeth, and will give you a truly “pearly white” smile!

Veneers require the removal of enamel to prepare your tooth and create space for the veneer. Patients who don’t want this kind of preparation to their teeth can opt for minimal prep veneers, where less tooth preparation is needed. You may have heard names for minimal prep veneers such as Lumineers, e.max, or Pearls.

Crown Lengthening

Some tooth restorations require that we expose more of the tooth below the gum line. Dr. B performs crown lengthening in our office. Many times, she uses a soft tissue diode laser to remove gum tissue and expose more of the tooth.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding uses a composite resin, applied in thin layers that chemically bond to your tooth and to each other. Each layer is carefully shaped and sculpted, and when this process is complete, the bonding is hardened under a special light and then finished and polished, all in one appointment. Bonding has many uses such as repairing broken or cracked teeth, adjusting your bite, closing up small gaps, or covering stained teeth that are resistant to tooth whitening processes.

Tooth and Gum Recontouring

Sometimes very small changes can make a major difference in your smile. We can change a gummy smile by revealing more of your teeth, using a soft tissue laser to easily remove excess tissue. We can also recountour your teeth by filing and sanding small amounts of enamel to minimize an overlap, shorten a tooth that’s longer than others, or adjust your bite for better function.

Tooth Whitening

Brighten your smile up to 10 shades whiter with an in-office or take-home tooth whitening treatment. In one appointment, Dr. B uses Zoom!2 or Sinsational Smile to whiten your teeth. If you’d rather whiten your teeth more gradually, she can give you prescription-strength Opalescence whitening trays to use at home.

A smile makeover is a total transformation of your smile that makes use of any or all of the restorative and aesthetic treatments offered by Dr. Batorfalvy.
